ClareVilla is nestled into the escarpment on 10 high rolling green acres overlooking the Morton National Park, 8 kms from Kangaroo Valley Village. It shares the property with the main house which is about 60 metres away.
The Villa is a renovated mud brick barn constructed from bricks manufactured on site and ancient timber beams sourced from demolished wool stores and dismantled docks.
In its new life it is a relaxed space, perfect for unwinding at the end of a busy working week. It is fully self contained and separate – an ideal couple’s getaway.
Kangaroo Valley is reputedly one of only seven fully enclosed valleys in the world. Located only two hours from Sydney or Canberra It is renowned for its lush farming landscapes fringed with temperate rain forests, towering escarpments and abundant wildlife.

‘This place is absolutely perfect and a fantastic weekend getaway. We loved the location (great hikes nearby and not far from Berry) and the place was simply stunning. It’s perfectly fitted out with a wonderful gas fireplace and rustic theme but with modern comforts (loved the coffee machine and wifi). Big thanks to Susan and Bob who were the perfect hosts; stocked the fridge (with bacon, eggs, butter and milk for breakfast) and were available if we needed them. We can’t wait to get back to your piece of perfection. Thanks for having us!

Susan met us on our arrival and was very welcoming. The location was close enough to the village but far enough away to feel secluded. We really loved the design and construction of the villa and the ability to walk around the property. We would come back anytime.

Susan made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The property is really a little slice of heaven, and a great place to get away from everything. The cottage was spotless and clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. I can see why Susan gets great reviews and will definitely be back to visit.
